Nas & Hit-Boy have decided to DOUBLE BACK! The follow-up to their Grammy-winning (Nas’ first) album, King’s Disease, arrives in the form of a sequel, King’s Disease II.
Nas announced the release date and cover via his official Instagram. Oddly enough, the LP arrives the same as Kanye West‘s DONDA (probably tentative, given Kanye’s history).
Kanye affiliate, Consequence made a tweet implying that Ye was looking to drop on Drake‘s date for Certified Lover Boy. If Drake announces his date before Yeezy & Nas’ date, August 6th, we’ll see how this all pans out.
West has been rolling out DONDA in spectacular fashion. His release party made headlines, and now he’s rented a stadium out to finish the album. You heard it… a stadium.
It may surprise fans to see that Nas & Hit-Boy have returned so close to the success of the original King’s Disease. Nas hasn’t churned out albums at this pace since the late 90’s.
